Content delivery network is basically a group of servers that are distributed geographically to deliver your content faster. So how does this CDN works? Firstly, the static content of websites like pictures and videos are cached to the servers that are located nearby the browsing population. These are called node servers. Then, when the website in question is accessed, the static cached content is loaded from the node server, thus distributing the load off from its personal server. This makes sure that the website content is available faster to any user across the world.
